Bike Ride to Pondy

Pondicherry or fondly called Pondy is many a times a weekend getaway. My most recent venture to Pondy was for the Pondicherry International Fashion Week about which I've written in my other blog, Fashion Panache. Once before that I decided to ride my bike solo all the way to Pondy, touch its border and get back. That's almost 300km which I covered in 5 hrs.
I know, its not a great speed, the fact is, I wasn't bothered about the speed. I set out to enjoy the journey, the drive, coz the climate was great - not too hot, not rainy, it was perfect! And ofcourse, I stopped a million times in between to click pictures.
I just set out without planning, so yeah, my DSLR wasn't with me. All pics are from my dearest Oneplus one!!! Enjoy the clicks!!!!

  1. I too want to travel solo on my bike to Pondy and Tirupati at least, but haven't found the inspiration yet. This post might just inspire me to. I have traveled from Bangalore to Mysore and Chennai to Kanchipuram, but that's the maximum distance I have done. But that's what is possible with my 100cc bike anyway :)
