Thirukurungudi - Part 3 (Tirunelveli - Tamil Nadu)

This is the 3rd & last part of Thirukurungudi. This time is the photo album of the sculptures on the Gopuram itself, that we explored getting onto the 1st floor of the temple! These were extremely minute and intricate and oh yeah, it took a tough time for my friends to pull me out of this place!!!

    who's being lustrated there? Not Kumara - not a Saiva temple ??

      Could be Kumara or Rama. I don't see any weapons or special icons to figure out...

    perhaps the top panel shows Lord Rama sighting with a surveying tool, before beginning to build the causeway.
